Richard Allen

Prior to Next Wave, Mr. Allen spent 29 years in the petrochemical, refining, biofuels and midstream space, encompassing operations, commercial, supply chain, business development and strategy. While at BASF, Mr. Allen was integral to the leadership of the Port Arthur cracker and Sabina units. Recently, as part of the executive management team of Caliche Storage, Mr. Allen assisted in the successful development of the company while leading the commercial sales and business development functions. Prior to that, he served on the executive management team of Endicott Biofuels, a biodiesel company, leading the supply chain, toll operations and feedstock purchasing functions. Mr. Allen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from University of Tennessee and an MBA with a concentration in international finance from the Old Dominion University in Portsmouth, Virginia.
